Refacing & Resurfacing
What is Cabinet RefacinG? Is it for You?
In many instances the cabinet boxes are in great shape, but the doors and drawer fronts are worn or just have a dated look. In this instance, we can remove all existing doors and drawer faces, then replace them with your choice of hundreds of custom built solid wood faces finished to match the existing cabinet boxes.
The new doors and drawers are over-sized to cover more of the cabinet frames. The doors feature self-closing concealed hinges and a durable 6-step finish with an oven-cured catalyzed varnish top coat. This easy to clean and durable finish will last for many years. You may opt to improve the functionality of the cabinetry by adding new drawers on full extension glides, roll-out trays for pots and pans storage, roll-out waste containers, lazy susans, etc...
We can also modify existing cabinetry to accommodate your new dishwasher, oven, or microwave. We can also provide additional cabinetry to further improve your design layout.
By adding a new countertop and floor, you will have a kitchen that looks and functions like new at a fraction of the price of replacing your cabinetry.
What is Cabinet ReSurfacing? IS it for You?
If you desire an entirely new look, color, or even wood species, then resurfacing may be the right option for you.
In addition to replacing the cabinet door and drawer fronts, we can resurface the cabinet boxes with real wood, durable laminates, or even repaint the existing cabinets to match the new doors and drawers. We can also add new crown moldings and valances to complete the transformation.
This process allows our clients to go from painted cabinetry to a rich cherry finish or from oak cabinetry to luxurious maple. We offer 100's of doors, drawer styles and finishes so you can transform your existing cabinetry into virtually any look you can imagine.
We offer cabinet resurfacing in oak, maple, cherry, hickory, alder, pine, Formica®, and painted finishes.
